It's great to be back on line.

When the Cobra site crashed, sometime in November or December last year, I lost all access and was thrown completely out of the system. It couldn't have come at a worse time as I am well and truly into my build and the assistance I get from you guys is invaluable. I was devastated. I sent emails all over the world trying to find out what was going on, but couldn't get a reply from anyone. I finally found a helping hand when Tony Cram put me in the picture. Thank's again Tony. You'll never know how much your advice means to me. Now it's back and I'm a new person. I'm human again.

Lots have changed since I've been off line. I see Bernie has a new GT40. Way to go big fella.

I'm now an official member of the NSW Cobra Club and now I'll bring you up to date with my build.

The dash has been cut out and it will soon be trimmed in beautiful soft, fawn leather. It will look great with the 8 new VDO white faced gauges fitted.

The speakers have been installed in the headrests of the MX5 seats and they will be going to the trimmers soon too.

The Jag diff, front and rear suspension and brakes have been completely overhauled and painted in black enamel.

The body has been prepared and the underside painted with the black tar stuff, then the final turquoise colour applied, but only to the underbody and engine bay. The engine bay has also been flow coated. I'll post some photos on my 'Gallery' shortly.

The engine mounts have to be re-positioned and the chassis powder coated, then I can start bolting pieces on.

I've had a couple of gold signs made up for the inside of the cockpit. These are in my 'Gallery' also.

This one's going under the ignition key.

This one's going on the centre consul near the Gear Selector.

I hope to have the car on the road by July or August, but will be attending the majority of the NSW Cobra Club outings in my 'Tin Top.'

The shoulder replacement I had in September last year is about 85% repaired. Now it looks like I've got to have my Mitral Valve replaced sooner than later.

To all you forumfanatics, I wish you a healthy 2008.

Baz.
