Yes mate, down to a "T". :)

The doors, bonnet and boot are permanently off my car to allow me to crawl over it on those wet days. I don't even have power in the shed... just a mighty long extension lead running from the laundry. No windows or natural light, except when the corrugated roof flaps about in high winds!

I'm currently negotiating with the builder of our new place - 5.5m x 6m is the standard double garage and I'm going to lengthen it. That should make the world of difference.

Sambo
you're right. Can't have too much room. I went for the 7x6m garage with a single big door. The extra length comes in handy!!

Luxury !

http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...2172_50pct.jpg

When I were a lad we dreamed of a palatial shed like this...

But we were never complainin' - we were grateful for our cardboard shoebox.

The youth of today, don't know how good they av it.

etc

how good have the youth got it

higher interest rates /fuel prices , new ir laws etc the bullsh#t just keeps going and i cant see a reason for complaining, atleast when our cars are fininshed we wont have to pay luxury car tax,,,,,i hope.

LoBelly, I built my HT Monaro in the driveway of a rented house in Burwood - on a student budget I might add! So I'm not complaining. Ah those were the days...

Shed....luxury...........we used to live in shoe box downt middle of the road

.... for dinner we'd lick road with tongue and suck on two pieces of hot gravel

...them's the days!!!

Must be Friday and time for a beer!!!!!!!!!!

yeh Lobelly these young uns dont know how easy they got it. Wheely bins were only for the rich foke to live in an I grew up hopin to one day move out of the fridge box and have a wheely of my own. Imagin the luxury of all that space AND it was water proof.

Rob. Smith 02-01-2008 03:56 AM

Lobelly. . do those shed doors overlap ?
When I built my little home I decided I needed a BIG shed. . .6 X 9 mtrs ( 20 x 30 )
It's too small !
I respect and admire any one that builds a car in a shoebox

When I was younger my garage was one wheel on the footpath and work in the gutter, when I was buying my place I saw the garage and decided to buy it , didn't worry obout the rest of the house. my wife reckons I'm still in the gutter though :JEKYLHYDE

me too - I couldn't do it. In fact I don't think there room in that shed for Sambo's cobra and me at the same time.

No wonder you've spec'd the super garage Sambo - bet you cant wait.

Personally I was the fortunate recipient of a large dose of charity on the part of my brother who gave me the run on his sheds for a year (pic below)
