There I was, watching the TV, rare event for me cuz it's mostly crap, and guess what comes on.
More crap.....something about a McDonalds education thingy. %/ Do they have something like net nanny for TVs.....so you can filter out what you think unsuitable for viewing?. ;) |

trularin,
No change OK will do. I have lost 11kg - 26 lbs - and put it back on again after getting off the race bike.. I'll try and wear the same blue shirt.. Look forward to catching up with you all. Stiffy from the Australian forum here is heading over also. |
a 're-take' means YOU coming to Tulsa before LCS!! :p

Kristen, Yes a re - take, I'll head over to Mid America with Hersh and Clois and then onto the London Cobra Show. Sorry to be missing you at the London event. I'm aiming to get back in early October for the Run N Gun and possibly SEMA. BTW the McDonald's add has gone international.. and it will be on YouTube next week also. I have not been on the bike mainly due to work here and the renovations. Sounds like excuses but.. I'll be back on it soon as I'm feeling a little lazy..**) |
Well, this is good, I lost 19 pounds. By the time I get to London, I'll have some of it back.
 |
trularin
Yes my total loss over 3 months with little dietary change - was 28lb. The bike rips it off at 400k or 240+ miles per week and I was 'starting to look unhealthy and gaunt' to quote Anne..%/. Look forward to getting over to Columbus and London to catch, first margarita is on me - I hope the machine is operation..:3DSMILE: |
They had it running for a while last year, but I was working the event for all of the days...but Sunday.
Not sure if I will be working the event this year. Great to have you and Hersh there. :D :D |
trularin,
I'm in my old mate Hersh's hands and he and Clois have worked it all out - to keep me occupied. I kept Hersh so busy when he was over here last month I think it was two weeks of jet lag - sorry helicopter lag.. :3DSMILE: I think his aim is to send me home worn out.. Talk soon.. |

Kristen, here's the link to the add - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jwfcyFiiLg |
oh, cool. thanks, Bernie. :)
Showed it to David and the girls just a few minutes ago. You actually look pretty good. Now I'm SURE David is jealous!!!! :p :p And with you coming to Texas and all with Hersh, you might wanna be aware he drives a big truck and chews on cigars and has a big gun!!!   congrats on the cool ad. :) K |
Well done Bernie.
I'm usually overly suspiscious with that sort of corporate advertising, despite the sentinment, but knowing the man adds too much cred. So how do I hire you to fire up my eldest mid-teen sloth?? Oh but he does well part time at the local Maccas, and seems to have a good rap there!! Cheers Steve |
hey'littlecobra
Kristen, No problem - guess you have seen the Crocodile Dundee movies - 'call that a gun'.. Look forward to catching up and meeting with David and the family there some time. Yes perhaps when in Fredericksburg Texas we will drop in for a coffee there..%/ |

Steve, No problem there with him working at McDonald's - what store Morrabbin? You may see the change, perhaps even cleaning his room up and helping Mum..:3DSMILE: |
Bernie
Ha no change yet in 9 odd months, we wait and hope. He's at the Chelsea Heights store, on the edge of our neighbourhood. Cheers Steve |
stephen low
Steve, OK Chelsea Heights is a company store I know most of the owners over that way. Mmmm just wait and hope for change - perhaps it will come after the 21st.. |
stephen low.
In the Chelsea store today asked for him, but he wasn't there - next time..%/ |
Bernie
He wasn't on yesterday and there's a good story to this and the store's apparent poor state of management. Andrew deliberately booked into the store diary that he would be unavailable last night as we had presentation night on at the club. He wrote this up more than a month ago!! He checked Metime two weeks ago and was rostered on, so Mum call's up, gets the booking manager and points out the issue and is told that manager would cover. Lo and behold just after 5pm yesterday the wife takes the call, where is Andrew? Silly bastards have a booking diary and don't use it. I've given up trying to tell them, as I just seem to rotate through a bunch of snotty nosed young managers and there is no ultimate co-ordinator, I presume the owner? If you know the store owner, let him know of this stupid state of affairs, because we then get the impression Andrew's shifts become a bit discriminated because of his apparent lack of availability. Might be a store ripe for take-over Bernie - looking to expand your deep fried kingdom?? Cheers |
