That is a great description. A lot of time spent on chosing words.

Is Phil finally getting a Website?

dbn04 04-18-2008 10:55 PM

that is perfect!!:D

MadDog 04-18-2008 11:05 PM

I like it. Its just like that. I thought when I pulled up to other muscle cars or hot rods at a stop light they would want to try to beat me to the next light but they seem to be stuned. Its like Tom Cruse in the ring with Mike Tyson it just isnt worth the imbarassment.

Well Done!
I gotta go jump in and take it for ride right now!

If you know the owner of the website (Phil), please tell him that the article is by Hal Copple who is a member of Club Cobra. He should at least get his OK to use it AND reference his name to the article.

Plagiarism with a capital P :o:o:o

wtm442
The little oxford dictionary say's , Plagiarize: take and use anothers (writings etc) as one's own.
All i have done here is create a link to a site which i had found whilst browsing the web. i thought it was amusing and of interest to all cobra owners.
I do not believe i have plagiarized any thing.

wtm442 04-20-2008 04:34 AM

I do not believe i have plagiarized any thing.

Not you, the web site.

HSVREDSLED 04-20-2008 04:41 AM

Im not too savvy on all the computer techno stuff, but when I clicked the link my trusty virus detector detected numerous trojan viruses...

stephen low 04-20-2008 05:38 AM

I'd concur that simply providing a link is not plagerism, just publicity as to what is out there in the big wide web world!!

The fact that the material is available to the public via a publicably accessible mechanism, needs no permission either to advertise its existence either, in my book.

Seems like some of us might be getting a little Shelby-ish in our quotable quotes!!

HSVREDSLED

Have you not heard this before, a new unprotected computer first time connected to the Internet will see spam and viral hits within something like 30 seconds of connection being made.

Much the same as our cobra obsessions, there are computer geeks out there obsessed with trying to infect all manners of programs - ah isn't the human nature a wonderful thing!! Or perhaps it is just a Gate's conspiracy thing, who knows?

Now let's go out and shoot these cobra non-believers!!

727pilot@usa.co 04-20-2008 05:45 AM

The site is nicely done with professional looking results. But why no prices? How does he expect to sell wheels if you can not find out what he expects to get for them?

Most folks, myself included, immediately come to the conclusion that the wheels are going to be "Works of Art" and probably priced at two to three times what they should cost.

hey,littlecobra 04-20-2008 06:37 AM

McAfee detected a couple of trojans on mine, too. Certainly not a new computer!
Either he or his server/provider has stuck a few on there. :p

Thieleng 04-20-2008 12:10 PM

When I opened the link a virus was attempted to be loaded on my computer, everyone be careful

UKCobra 04-20-2008 02:09 PM

Yup - it's a bad site....

Iva Bigan...
It appears you have listed a virus infested website link.
If someone opened the link with no problems, they most likely will have problems.....soon.
I was lucky.
Jody

Jim Doak 04-20-2008 03:11 PM

I guess I was lucky, too. I clicked on the link, McAfee detected a Trojan virus, and my PC locked up.

Jamo 04-20-2008 09:15 PM

Removed the link...thanks for the heads up, HLC.

HSVREDSLED 04-23-2008 05:24 AM
