Just watch the 'Post" count go up
Well all going well I'll be sitting around the airport waiting for flights tomorrow.
I head off to the LA. then to Phoenix Az. for the big road trip again. Route 66 all over again in the GT40 with my mate Hersh. We will be there in time to attend the Mid States Ford event in Tulsa Ok. before heading off to the London Ohio event. I'm looking forward to catching up with the many people I met in London 2 years ago. It will be great to have fellow Australian 'Stiffy' leading my astray in London..:MECOOL: We catch up in Columbus, Ohio. Watch the 'Post' count go over 11,000...:3DSMILE: Having sat around airports many times before, I end up looking at hundreds of Cobra, GT40 photos in galleries - so just watch the 'Post' number go over 11,000. I think I added 1500 'Posts' on in one three hour wait in the Qantas club lounge last month.. I'll keep you all posted on our adventures in London, Ohio...:3DSMILE: |
Have a good one mate. :D
Wish I was going. :( |
Need some one to carry your luggage for you, open stubbies, PA etc???
No.............bast@#d!!!! |
Bernie. Call me when you get to Hershal's???
I'll send my # in pm, in case you don't have it with you. :) Having just arrived home from Paris last night, after a 10 hour flight, i am tired and trying to figure out what time it is..... 8:30 am or 3:30 pm. regardless, i am still in my jammies!!! have a pleasant trip and see you next week. :) K |
Bernie,
I'm in Boston right now and heading to LA next week. Bring your winter woolies, it's been ffffreezing over here. Enjoy the Fossil Fuel Fest Cameron |
Bernie, you and Hersh have a safe drive. If Rohan doesn't lead you astray enough in London, there will plenty of us to there to pick up the slack.
Maybe you guys can do your http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...milies/taz.gif impersonations at Woo Doggies across the street to liven things up. |
Just jumped on Hersh's computer.
Arrived well refreshed after a big sleep - Mmmm had the noisy woman from hell next to me. I was bumped to 1st and thought great. You guessed it, the girl from hell who had been in the Qantas lounge bar for three hours before. Smart she was drinking white wine at 9am when I arrived - just got noisy and then on the plane deck next to me. Nothing like free food and wine to bring out the best in one.. And I'm drinking orange juice and eating fruit salad - boring.. From a nice 10c - 50f - to a sizzling 38c - 106f. The pool looks great. Kristen, Good to hear you are back from Paris and resting up for London. The margarita machine will be up and running so expect some late nights and a sore head.. Hersh and I look forward to catching up with you. ROUSHAC, Dave, Hey mate looking forward to catching up. I'll stay away from Stiffy -as I do want to go back to London again..:MECOOL: 400TT Craig, yes I plan on having lots of fun. Do you know if RCR will have a display at London or Tulsa Ok.? I asked Todd to keep an eye out for the air con at Mt. Gambier. I'm standing on the footpath/side walk at Phoenix Sky Harbour and a blown Chevrolet powered '32 drove past. Hell welcome to the USA. Thought that Hershal may have swapped his '34 for a '32 Cameron, It's as hot as can be here. No winter gear - just eyeing off the pool. Hersh has fitted a new ZF box. It looks amazing. It is brand new and all blinged out - fully polished. Nothing like lifting the bar..:MECOOL: I will grab his old diesel box, as it has a better ratio than my 016. It is one of the Euro boxes. The ratio on the 016 I have now is on final at .86:1 and this new box is .64:1. If my figures are right it will give me a substantial rev. reduction at 100 - 65mph... I also stepped up the rear tyres by 10 to the 50 series - a little more wall flex and the slight improvement of about 125rpm. I will keep the sticky 40's for Calder Track days..**) All in all - box and tyres/tires a reduction of nearly 800rpm at 100 - 65mph. My head is still a little scrambled, so I think I have calculated it correctly. Talk soon all. Signing off on Hersh's site. Bernie |
glad you made it here! it is hot, isn't it???
gonna be hotter and more humid in TULSA and then on to LONDON, where it will be more of the same. Remember, it's just HOT in Arizona, not humid!!! :p   I'll seeya in tulsa next weekend. :) K |

hey'littlecobra Kristen, Yes just saw a "t' shirt with the slogan.. 'it's a dry heat' with the skeleton of a coyote.. I know I heading over here to live and selling air conditioning units!!.. I think Anne is the smart one of this duo - she is heading to Ireland, Scotland and Wales in mild climate at 70f..%/ Can you Pm Hersh with that number? Cheers. See you in London Bernie |
