I can't tell you who, I can't tell you where and I can't you when - all I can say is, it is an LS1/6 speed.
If I am questioned, I will say it is hooked up to a battery drill in WA.??????? |
200mph

There was at least two 6Ltr T56 cars at the Nationals, Phil N was one.
I could do almost the whole of Wakefield in 3rd using a 3.54 ratio. When this diff blows up one day I will go for 3.9's. Ben |
Wasn't this why the Daytonas were built? Of considerable interest is the revs at different (e.g., cruising speed on the highway) speeds rather than top speed. I tend to agree that for most a 3.3-3.5 rear end may be more comfortable on the road.

Wasn't the question "What is your Cobra's top speed"?
Mine is around 150 mph before it becomes airborne. |
I would like to see that! Air Cobra? Worrying. I agree with Les and the issue for me seems to be as much about the final gearing delivered by the differential, gearbox, tyre dimensions and engine revs and consequent driveability, under different conditions and demands. I am quite interested in the discussion about modifications to the Nissan differential on the Harrison Cobra.

Someone once said, "Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?"
|
I had mine to 57mph, so I know it can go that fast.
|
Just did a dyno with a DRB reasonably stock 302 with auto on gas and pulled 220 kmh.
The car was built to cruise...not bad for a cruiser. Smithy |
According to my copilot, I hit 148 MPH.
I dare not say where. BMK was in a certain GT40 while I was next to him at 140 MPH somewhere I can not mention. Here is the shot: http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...36DSCF0047.JPG :D :D :D :D |
