Forget the Locker--fit a tru-trac unit.

As above, I have run both & would not bother with a locker again. Tru Trac is so easy to push around in the shop, nice progressive feel on the track, no click -click-click at roundabouts or anything like that to alarm you. Drive a similar car if you like with one fitted, you will be impressed.

I would definitely recommend the TruTrac unit. DV from this forum (jeez, where's he at the moment?) was able to run wheels up launches at the track with his 31 spline TruTrac and it handled the abuse.

I have full spools in two of my cars - one of which was the Cobra - and they worked fine for me. Honestly it was fine to drive on the street, and not even a problem in the rain. Having said that, I hadn't set mine up for ultimate handling, so i know the Tru Trac would have been a better handling option. They just didn't make them in 35 spline at the time...
