Photo Gallery organisation ?
 
I'm slowly reloading my gallery and I'd like to put them in a particular order. Does any one know if this is possible and how can I do it ?
It would make my pics, make sense.

Would you step in here please?
In response to Rob, there's a category below your gallery pics on the page called 'Sort Pictures'. It asks you to select 'sort by', 'timeframe' and 'order'
and has a 'sort now' button. I have found that it will sort to your preference.
However, when revisiting the page, they are the way they originally were-your setting change is not remembered.
Ron can you help Rob and I?

There is no automatic way to organize your uploads into the Gallery; you can't rely on a sequence.
When viewing pics, I believe you can choose various sorts, but storing them is kind of FIFO.

Two ways to help this... first, I think Contributing Members have the ability to create Albums (as sub folders) in their Gallery. You could make an Album for, let's say an Event...and upload all event pics to that.

Or...

You can coordinate text you can fill in for the Name and the Description to make the pics show up in a certain order, when sorted.

Like, a build thread where each pic starts with a 6-digit date, i.e., 040309
