A cunning plan is hatched...
In my previous blog I mentioned that I had picked up a drivetrain combination at a damaged vehicle auction.
I have now completed the other half of the puzzle with a Homebush kit that has been partially completed out of Sydney. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../Homebush1.jpg It is missing engine, brakes and lines, fuel tank and lines, electrical, most of the interior, but I liked the colour and it already had the body on, painted, windscreen, 9" diff, t5 gearbox, suspension and wheels... What do they say, 90% of the work takes 10% of the time and the other 10% will take 90% of the time. Anyway the fun begins! |

Oh yes, you will get sick of me quickly!
I spoke with Brian and even thought he didn't know me from a bar of soap he spoke with me for around 20 minutes and was certaintly very helpful and answered my stupid questions that he must have been asked a thousand times as if it were the first time! I'm really looking forward to getting my hands dirty... Just quickly, is there a build manual, so I can understand what else is required? Or, something I should talk to Brian about? |
Unfortunately the build manual is in Brians head.
