Headers for a B&B with a 427w
 
Bryan,

I have a 2002 B&B cobra (roadster) and am looking to put a KC 427w in the engine bay. I currently have the small 1 1/2 or 1 5/8 inch headers on a
351w. Do you folks make a larger diameter header for the above 427w engine with AFR heads.

I believe the gains would be small plus your going to loose some bottom end torque. To inrease to larger diameter headers usually requires adapter plates and spun offset bolt pattern. A good source for these is Kooks ..... but they are pricey and kinda a pain but they have them. Also remember it will require their gaskets always....... Just thought you should know ..... did this myself a few years ago. Went to 1 7/8 primary tubes. - Carbon777
