Which tires?
I'd like to know which brands of tires you've had good luck with. As most of you know from reading my posts, my build has been somewhat budget conscious. I tend to go middle of the road when it comes to laying out my hard earned cash. With that said, I'm not looking for the most expensive, exotic tires out there... just high quality and good value. All opinions respected... thanks in advance.

well there are two kinds of tires, all the budget radials are the same for the most part i have done test with these $120 range tires and there the same, as for bias ply seeing u live in ny u need some tread. where i live in az its stock car special slicks from good year, all year round, if u want tread get the billboards by goodyear. when u get away from the 15 inch wheel and look at 17-18 inch thats when your tire choices will be more abundant but more money.

My only experience has been with Firestone Firehawks and I'm pretty happy so far. They had a deal at wheel works (buy 3 and 1 is free) so I couldn't pass that up.
Fronts were $112 each and rear 295's were $155 each, hope this helps.
