rear view mirror

I do not know if this is the one that came with the kit, but I have the dash mounted rear view mirror where the mirror mounts on a ball end. the problem is that the mirror vibrates and slips down. It is tightened all the way. Anyone have an idea on how to keep it from slipping?

thanks, Jim

I had to take mine apart and bend the section together a little. That solved the problem.
I have since mounted it on the top of my windshield because I couldn't see a thing mounted on the dash. I find it MUCH better mounted to the top of the windshield (IMO).

There is also a taller dash mounting stem ( from Craigs Cobras ) that raises the mirror about an 1" or so. Makes seeing behind a lot easier.
