Interior ideas
B&B kits have absolutely horrid interior kits.
What are some better choice or ideas? Now that I can drive the car, I can take my time fixing the lees than top quality stuff from B&B. http://i740.photobucket.com/albums/x...1/IMG_0729.jpg |
You might want to make an overlay template of your dash as a blank to perhaps make a new dash face with for example an exotic wood burly walnut and then place your gauges in a different pattern.
If you don't like the idea of the wood dash you could still do the blank dash in wood and upholster it to your desired vinyl or leather color and re-position yor gauges end dash controls. I restored a Jeep CJ-7 and hated the center gauge with all the included gauges in one, I did the template repostioned new individual gauges and controls and it worked out great. Just a thought. |
You could check the originality forum for ideas, and also check out Cobra Country advertisements for some good interior shots.
