Radiator for B&B
I'm not sure if Bryan is using the same model radiator today as he did five years ago. My chassis was set up for a 78 mustang radiator. Which is kind of an odd year to use. I found two suppliers that had what I wanted. 1. U.S. Radiator, (323) 826-0965, I dealt with Alex Corona. His extention is #16. Also, Griffin Radiator, (800) 722-3723.
The difference between the two is that U.S. Radiator does not deal in aluminum. They explain the reasons for only manufacturing brass on their web site (www.usradiator.com). Griffin also has a web site (www.griffinrad.com). I've had both, presently I'm running a 4 row Optima unit from U.S. Radiator. It's advertised as having the same capacity as a 6 row core. And in my street rod I have a Griffin alluminum unit. Nothing special, and it does the job. Hope this helps.... SPENCER:MECOOL: |
