transmission

Building a B&B, which transmission would be best tremec 500 or 600, motor is a 351 cleveland stroked to a 408 with 500 hp and a 8.8 rearend with 3.55 gears

500 or 600 ft/lbs of torque and the price is the only difference I know. Getting that torque to the ground is pretty hard in one of these cars.
My only suggestion is to get the .8x final drive. The .63 like mine is awfully tall.

With the highways cruising now at 70-75+ the .63 od is not a bad idea either.
