B&B Dash Removal

Thinking about swapping the existing Faria gauges out with a new Stewart Warner set. My B&B dash has 3 mounting points that are covered by a very tight fitting round plastic trim button. Any suggestions on the best way to remove these and the associated dash mounting hardware is appreciated.

I removed the steering wheel, then nuts on each end of the dash and at top with a 1/2" or 9/16" socket I believe. Then depending on tail/no tail, remove the rest. This allows me to drop the dash and do whatever I need. It sounds like yours may have been mounted differently.
This shows the "standard" mount points.
