Kit Question

I was reading about the B&B kits, and I was wondering if all the parts had to be from B&B or if donor mustang parts could be used?

Thanks!

I have been buying my kit in peices from B&B. The experience has been great. I purchased many parts elsewhere as well. Good luck!

Dang,

I've had my B&B on the road for a year now. The special parts engineered for the B&B kit, such as hood hinges, pedal set, gas tank, etc............get from B&B. The rest of the parts I sourced from a salvage yard, Finish Line, Summit. You don't need a donor car. The kit was a blast to build. You can't go wrong with B&B factory support. I still give the B&B guys two thumbs up on the kit.

Your Choice

Dang.....
The slick thing about building your dream is that you can build it using old or new parts. However, it's some what less of a problem on fit and finish when you get the part from Bryan. I build mine in 97' and quickly learned that obtaining the additional parts from B&B makes the build less stressful. Chasing parts only to find that they don't quite fit or require minor or major modifications really gets old quick. Bryan manufactures most of the parts in house, so they fit.
I can also say the Bryan, Barry and Karen are great to deal with. My relationship is B&B is to the point that I can request equipment and they will ship it immediately, I put a check in the mail the next day or when I get the part and it fits. There aren't many vendors that will do that. They're just great to do business with. My car is on the opening page of www.cobracountry.com along with other B&B cars.
Check it out....
Good Luck with your choice of manufactures.

I was just wondering if the major car components could come from a donor. Things like the rear end, axle, driveshaft, etc. Things like the pedals, dash accessories, lights, gauges would/should/absolutely have to come from B&B. Thanks for the info!
