Contacts with Bryan Anderson

Hi,

I recently had a chance to buy a Shelby Cobra that my best friend owned for ever and wanted a new home for it, anyhow, got the beautiful car, I was told it was the LAE #4 , LA Exotics fourth built by Bryan Anderson and registered in 1972.

I hope to reach out to Mr. Anderson to verify that fact.

How can I get in contacts with him, I’m hoping he might read this or if anyone have news about his new adventures and how can I reach out?

Thanks

The Bryan Anderson that I knew that assembled cobras died several years ago. He was a great man.

You might reach out to Barry at Fiberglass 34 Coupes and Cobras by McGill Manufacturing
He was one of the "B"s for a very long time and still builds Cobras.

1972 sounds too early for a Cobra replica. The earliest replica I remember was Artnz which was in the late 1970s.

Hi,

Iregistered in 1972.

Maybe titled as a 1972

But not titled in 1972

Make sure you have a firm grasp of the English language and exactly what the different between the two are. Otherwise, you will get sucked into a car that is not what you expect it to be.

I just looked at your profile. It says you are in California. In California you need an SB100. If this car has been around forever it might have been registered before SB100 existed and might have been registered in some way that will cause you major headaches now. Before SB100 I think Californian did funky things to try to register their cars. Hopefully this car was not registered in some weird way like having the serial number of a wrecked 1972 VW Thing.
