Brake Proportioning Valve
I am running an SN95 rear end with disk brakes and 11" GM Disk Brakes on the front. I have the standard Master Cylinder from B&B. What should I be running for a proportioning valve? Looking at the build CD, one of the pictures shows simply a T going to the front and a junction going to the rear. I thought this was the way to go until I looked at some other build pictures. What are your thoughts.

Hi Tom,
I first thought I needed to use a proportioning valve but after speaking with B & B they said to use a t valve with 4 wheel disk. I believe you only use a prop valve with a combination of disk/drum brakes. I took my advice right from B & B so that is good enough for me. I have not had it on the road yet but I am sure it will work fine. Good Luck |
