E-Brake Handle Mounting
I am trying to mount my e-brake. I drilled the holes in the braket prior to putting the fiberglass on. I had to extend the rod about 3" to reach the cables. After doing so, the mount wants to bend. Another member had the same problem. I put the fiberglass on and was going to see how it worked with that on. Now, I am confused. Does the handle mount over th fiberglass? Between the mount and the fiberglass? It looks like I need to cut into the glass to mount the handle, does this seem right? I saw some patch work in this area on someones build site, so I am sure that I do need to cut in, but want to make sure. What are other's experiences with this?
Thanks for the input, Tom |
Hi,
You were probably referring to my site in your message. I will list the address again if you need it. I took some pictures of the e-brake install. The way you see it is the way B&B installed it. It works great! I didn't have to touch a thing. Good luck Jim http://www.jamswebdesign.com/cobra2/ |
