Mounting hood and trunk
My B&B CD Manual shows to mount the hood and trunk after the body is mounted by marking holes on the underside of the hood and trunk and the body. This step is after the body is mounted. Maybe I am missing something here, but wont it be hard to do this with the engine and gas tank and everything in there? Is it possible to perform this step with the body off of the frame?

First off Tom, take out your gas tank. You really shouldn't have to put it back in until after the body is painted, glassed in and wired. Then take out the radiator. That makes it easier. I would pull the engine, but that's just my preference. Done it so many times that it's just natural. For me, the very last things to go back in is the radiator and gas tank because they are in the way and mounting the hood and trunk goes much quicker without them.

No Gas Tank + No Radiator = No Go Kart rides

Sorry Tom. But seriously folks, the less riding you do, the more time you spend on building, the quicker it gets on the streets. Or as my grandmother used to say to me "You just want to show your a$$!" And I would always say "YUP!"

BTW, any suggestions on aligning the body for the initial mounting?
