OK Fred, granted you're building your car on a budget, but where did you get a set of heads made out of masking tape? :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

Tape

Ron;

That isn't masking tape! That is a new space age compound, it is just made to look like tape because it is such a new and top secret product... I will also try to get a shot of the fusion generator, and the steam bearing propulsion system tomorrow. The engine is just to there to feed the steam bearing set up. It should go 0-60 in .02 seconds and cruise at an altitude of 150,000 feet. The oxygen mask set up should be here next week from JPL.. I hope the wipers hold up! =-)

Don't forget the flux capacitor! (That's one of my wifes favorite lines.)

Looks great!

Where did you get that steering column at? Is that the new one that B&B is using now or an upgrade?!

Great looking project!

Hey, I'm building a 302 also, and was wondering how you did the alternator mounting? Looks like a standard tension bar upside down on top, but what about the bottom mount? I have mine on the pass side right now, but Midstates says that will interfere and I need to move it.

You might be a good source of tech advise if you don't mind - I'm puttin' together almost the same setup. We could trade horror stories of non-fitting parts!

Great job and keep it up!

Thanks

Blake;

The steering column is a basic I-Did-It GM style. That is what they gave me with the kit.. & It is great. Just plug it in...

ZIPZIP;

As far as the alternator bracket, you are right about the upper adjuster, but the lower one I fabricated myself. I will take a picture of the finished product after I am done and make a little drawing with the measurements and material I used. It wasn't too hard to make.. Took me about an 1 hour or so.. I will be welding it and the motor mounts this weekend.. I would be done welding by now but my welder burnt up!!! Got it back working so test fire and body installation by Sunday afternoon, and hopefully paint in about 3 weeks.. If you need anything I will email you my number..

Thanks

Fred..
