Mounting Sube Classic Seats
I am contemplating just mounting the Sube Classics that I have. I have the sliders, and am open to mounting with or without them. If I center the seats on the stearing wheel and where the look best, I can get one bolt into the steel frame with the sliders. The rest would be into the fiberglass, and I would need to run a bolt up with a metal spacer sleeve for the bolt that goes directly over the foot pan.
For some reason, mounting to the fiberglass does not seem sane to me, although I know that some have done it. Also, if I go this route, does anyone have any suggestions for mounting the simpson lap belts? On the out sides, I could go through the 2X3 outrigger. On the inside, I do not know what to do. I do have the B&B seat mounts, but they are not installed. With these, the Sube's would be way to high. Thanks, Tom |
