transmision tunnel

any way to shorten it side to side to allow more foot space at the pedals? i know they try to make it accomodate several different transmissions so it may take frame changes.

It's only steel, fiberglass, and possibly aluminum. All of those materials can be cut and reworked, depending on the skill of the fabricator. What kind of cobra do you have?

i am looking to get a B&B since they are in Missouri and since i have been able to sit in one. the pedal area was a little tight. didnt know if they could do that up for me while it is in the jig.

Matt,

What kind of transmission are you considering? Just remember you have to have room for removal once you get the body on. I am adjusting my pedals on my B&B but for different reasons. Call Barry about this if you are concerned. Barry can modify many things if you ask him before he starts fabricating.

mattc51,

I'm planning to cut my tunnel after I get my Tranny in place to check clearance, but you can only gain 1" to 1.5 inches on the throttle side. The limiting factor is the frame rail. However, I think that if you sat in some other Cobras you would find that B&B has a lot more foot room than most, that is one of the main reasons I chose B&B.

Clois,
Why are you adjusting your pedals?
