Rear hard lines again

Okay, this relates more to my B&B, but I am hoping you guys can give some suggestions. The bracket where the hard line transitions to the flex line falls right below the axle snubber and looks a little to close for comfort. The picture below is with the rear end hanging free...

Here is a side view...

I have considered replacing the flex lines with stainless steel and just running them to the hard line and using a hard line clamp where they join. Any other suggestions?

The calipers are the non Cobra calipers from Disk Brakes are Us with the RIchard Oben brackets, both of which work great. Can anyone recommend a flex line that will meet my needs with a bracket. Or am I just over thinking this?

Hello
Maybe I can help on this one, I ordered the B&B rear from them. They had both sides with flex tube which went to the center in a brake distribution block. The hose went straight down from fittings on ends and was clamped to side of axel....

Hi,

Sorry I couldn't get back to you any sooner. With back problems and computer problems I was out of commission. My setup looks very similar or the same to the pictures shown. I have never had any problems or concerns as of yet. If things seem a little close consider bending the bracket back a little. Remember the rear is not moving that much (at least in the direction of your brake lines). I think you should be fine with your current setup. It has worked for me so far.

If worse come to worse you can always downshift and pray the front brakes can stop you. Just kidding.
