Power brakes
Is anyone using a power booster on their B&B? If so what make and model? Did you utilize the existing master cylinder. I would like to get a little bit more braking power, I have 11" camaro disks up front and standard disks on the back ( whatever was stock on an 8.8 rear. Unfortunately I did not build the car so am not totlly sure of all parts on it.

I built an A&C and originally had manual brakes (separate Wilwoods with a balance bar) but I wanted more braking power and swapped for a boosted unit. Problem I had was sufficient clearance between the footbox and the inner fender. I used a unit from a 1974 Vette which A&C had recommended. Only thing I had to do was cut a relief in the inner fender for the front of the master cylinder. The unit provided unbelievable stopping ability. I am now in the process of covering the relief hole with fiberglass building a recess for the MC. Also, the '74 Vette has an integral proportioning valve eliminating the need for an in-line valve. I don't know what kind of room you have for the swap, but I thought this might give you some ideas. Some guys also have used a Gran National Powermaster unit that uses an electric remote vacuum booster. Tony |

Power Brakes
I only used the booster and MC. I used a pedal from a Mustang II and I attached it to the footbax provided with the A&C kit. I had to reposition the hole that connects the pedal to the MC pushrod to accommodate the longer pushrod and still was able to keep the correct pedal ratio.
