rims and tires?
it is time to get my wheels and tires. i think team III is what i want ,so anybody have the size of the tires and offset for the rims for the right look? I have narrowed 9"with disks in the back and tubular front suspention and disks in the front. b and b roadster says 4.5 backset doesnt that change with different width rims?I sure dont want to get this wrong. thanks

PM.......you may try Phil Smith........PS Engineering.......down here in the South Bay.......he does a nice wheel, and reasonable.......and can talk to you directly with what exactly you need.......just in case you wanted other options.....very good wheels!!! If you are running 15's then it all matters which way you fly on the backspace and such.......15's will get the right look, though giving up some on performance......but, hey, no matter what you ride on..........they spin!!!!

tires.
regarding tires.........I went with BFG's Radial T/A's for now. I have a order in with Aimtires, Ron Cortez, he deal with tires.......and there is a new 'v' rated one coming in in late Oct......good tires for everything, and in 15's!! Brand new here in the states......so, if you need more, PM me.

I went with the americanracing 427 cobra wheels 295-50-15 rear 235-60-15 front. tires mounted and balanced, shiped and wheels were $1457.00. they are a nice looking set. send me your e-mail adress and I will e-mail pics. my email is ONEDUSTYRHODES@aol.com

I went with the Team III wheels and like what I got. I also went with the Goodrich Radial TA's, the same size as Dusty. I think a Corbra looks best with 15" wheels. I have 9" width rears and 8" front wheels. I went with the B&B recommendation on the back set. While I am certainly no expert, the back set depends on the clearance on the inside of the tire. Too much and you'll rub the suspension, too little and you'll tear up the fiberglass in a corner if you hit a bump. The width of the rim can affect it if that's the point of interference, most often it's the tire. Go to the tire manufacurer's web sites and they will give you the tire with on a certian rim. With your set up, you have some choices, but B&B's recommendations will probably do you fine.
