Nose
I just noticed the nose on my car is not quite right. Im posting some photos on my photos but it might not show in these.Its not bad but it is there anyone else have the same thing?

my nose is'nt perfect either. hood scoop off center ,tail light off center. right side is low. they say it the way the original was but i dont know.at least they are strong.

Not complaining just wondering its not bad. This does seem to be a good strong body if you compare it to others. I am having some trouble fitting the doors but that could just be me everything else is great.

Speaking of the nose section, make sure you measure the holes for the front bumper carefully. I used B&B's marks and they are a little bit too far apart.
I had to get a clamp to pull the bumper together a bit. Not a problem if you are using the jacking points I guess.

Dimensions
I had a lot of body dimension variations. Nose was off, hood scoop etc. Spending a lot of time filling with fiberglass and blending. Regarding the doors look at the previous posts. DO NOT USE any of the B&B mounting holes. Make sure to line up the wheel wells on the tires to get the proper centering. Regarding the doors, hang the hinges and adjust best you can. Remove the 2-3 screws that B&B used to mountthe body under the door and push-pull the body to match the doors. The re-drill and bolt it down. Saves you lots of time and filler.

Well guys, in B&B's defense, since the mold was splashed off an original, you shouldn't complain to Bryan. You should have complained to Ol' Mr. Shelby about 42 years ago.

When we re-assembled my Hi Tech, we discovered that the body wasn't symetrical. It was splashed from CSX 3151. Trunk lid license plate bezel off 1/8 " to the left, fenders in front were different etc. That's the way they were.

In an embarrased testament to the strength of the chin of the B&B I bumped the lower chin fairly solid on a parking curb the other day with hardly a scratch. I did have to loosen the brace to frame bolts & relieve the tension induced by the nudge. Of course there was a stranger there to witness the event & my 20 year old son asking me "what are you new"? He has driven the Cobra many times without incident........I will never live that down
