e brake
I have the B&B 9 inch rear end and a lokar e-brake. Although It seems to be installed correctly (lots of tension on the handle and brake lines) it does not hold the car. Can anyone suggest how to get it working correctly?
Thanks,
Corey C

If you can post a picture of the complete setup. Maybe it might be binding somewhere.

If you have the mark vii rear brakes and if I remember correctly you may need to adjust the pistons in your calipers. also try pumping your handle a few times just like you were pumping your brakes.

How do I adjust the pistons in the calipers?

Like Clois said, you have to work the handle a few times or somehow actuate the e-brake lever on the caliper itself. I went to the lever on the caliper and actuated it several times using a wrench as a lever. (Too much spring to do it without leverage of some sort). That action moved the calipers in and the brake pads closer to the disc. Having said all of this I still don't get great holding power either. I have a Lokar handle also and think an e-brake lever with more leverage would pull the cable tighter and hold the brake better. I'm going with what I have though. I just pull Real Hard!
