Body finish question

After washing my fiberglass Cobra body, how long should I wait for exposed and unsealed body filler to dry before I can resume sanding and completing body work? I need to add some more filler in a few places and rework some that is already applied. I am in Louisiana and the humidity is usually high. The next few days should be in the low 80's and mostly sunny.

I have sanded the body with 120 grit paper. Should I go to 180 or so , or will the 120 sand marks be covered with featherfill 2.
Thanks Ronald

Got no answer here but one of the best painters in the country answered on the Factory Five site. Said one hour in sun at 70d to dry and ff2 will cover 120 grit sand marks---if anyone else wants to know

Body work is best left to the professionals.

Just my 2 cents.

Correct

Jams--I agree. This may well be one of those--"if I had known then what I know now---". However, I am retired and have the tools, time and desire to learn and not much money. So why not. Ron

body prep

Ron
My son and I did all prep and paint in my garage, turned out fine. I used
all Napa products. Go to your local Napa store that sells automotive paint.
They have many handouts about prep and paint.
Good Luck! :JEKYLHYDE

Thanks

I need all the help I can get. Glad yours turned out good. Hope I can say the same in 6 to 8 weeks. Think I am well over half way there. I do have a painter to spray the color coat. Won't try that myself.
