Drive Shaft Scatter Shield

After reading some of the posts of U-joints coming apart, I decided to make up a scatter shield for the drive shaft and wanted to share the end result for anyone who might want to do something similar.

The scatter shield was made out of 1/8 inch plates and then welded together. This will be bolted to the front drive shaft hoop and then brackets that will be bolted to both the scatter shield and the inboard seat belt plates.

The current pictures are the raw stock. Once I have all of the remaining small parts finished, they will all be sent off for powder coating so it should look a lot better.

Nice work. That is one beefy part! Should be no worries now.
