Rattle in Side Pipe
One of my side pipes has developed a rattle in it. I think I know the answer but is there anyway you guys know of to fix it short of cutting it apart and rewelding the core. I assume it has a glass pack set up inside of it. Mine is the B&B car with the ceramic coated system. The car only has 1600 miles on it. Expensive to replace if I have to.

I tapped my side pipe with a rubber hammer to find the part of the pipe
had the noise. Mine was bottom back. So I took it off the pipe and cut a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 square out in that area and found a nice piece of old metal slag. After removing that piece I mig welded my cutout back in. It's under the pipe so you don't see it. A litte thouch up with some high temp paint and good as new. I did try sheet metal skrews first thinking the inner pipe was loose but that didn't work. Good Luck Bruce :3DSMILE: |

Alot of guys have fixed the rattle by drilling a hole on the back side and putting in a long stainless steel screw. It's worth a try.
