LeMans Gas Cap

Does anyone know off hand what size hole I need to drill in the body for the LeMans gas cap?

Thanks,
Corey C

Drill a 3 1/4" hole or what ever the diameter of your threaded base of your cap is (I have seen some that were smaller than others) so be sure and measure. If I remember correctly you will have about a 3/8" to 1/2" edge inwhich your cap is mounted.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to install this gas cap. I have the metal tubing that attaches to the plastic gas tank, a length of black rubber tubing and the lemans gas cap, base and cover. Am I missing a piece? I assume I need another piece that installs inside the aluminum cap? Does the base of the lemans cap get installed from under the body with the cap screwing into it? If so I would need to cut a 4" hole in the body.

Thanks,
Corey C
