passenger rollbar
I purchased my kit 3/4 of the way done. It is going to paint soo and I want to add a passenger rollbar. The body is already on and fiberglassed. Can I do this? What about the welding? Does anyone have pictures of a passenger rollbar installed with the body on?
Thanks, Jim

I would think you could, at the very least, adapt some sort of bolt-in setup.
Obviously, measure several times and cut once...

We've put quite a few roll bars in finished cars. If you're going to weld TIG is cleaner and more localised, MIG will work with a welding blanket and a wet cloth handy. It's nice to use a fire spotter for welding and keep the extinguisher handy.

put a passenger roll bar in my b&b. Agree with advice on welding mentioned above. Only issue was you need to cut quite a bit of the fiberglass trunk liner to add the passenger bar. I ended up taking mine out and fabricating a new trunk liner. Pic's on my build site.
