Fuel gauge

Does anyone know the resistance for the stock Faria gauge? I want to replace the gauge with the Autometer Cobra gauge and they have several options for the Ohms ranges. Thanks in advance. Chas

Call Brian at B&B. I got all the gage specs with my kit but it and the paper work are 105 miles away right now.

Do a search for prior posts. I think we discussed it quite a bit with respect to sending unit. It was a few years back.

Thanks guys for your replies. When I didn't get a response for a few days, I posted in All Cobra Talk and got the answer. Sorry I forgot this was hanging out here. Chas

Fuel gauge

I have a 87 S-10 with a full fuel gauge next to the speedo. When the tank is not full it will bounce all over. Would this come from a bad ground with the fuel tank/gauge?

Thanks for any help
