BDR for sale on ebay

Nice looking car and price but I wonder why it has a csx 0044 shelby number in description when it is a BDR?

to expensive, go to vintage site, he has a couple hundred mile 347 for $40K

This car was for sale on Ebay about a year and a half ago. I seriously had considered this car but went with the Superformance.

hello fellow snake charmmers! Well I purchased the car on ebay that has the csx 0044 number. Anyone care to enlighten me on what I bought? I'm hoping I bought a backdraft cobra! I'm a newbe to the whole backdraft cobra other than what I can find on their site. Is there any way to tell? I believe I'm the 3rd owener.

It's a Backdraft. LOTS of people buy those tags from "the old chicken farmer" & put them on their cars to simulate an original look. I never quite understood it, but whatever...

First of all, welcome to the cobra world and to club cobra ! :cool:
It will be the time of your life driving a cobra ! It is NOT, a CSX car. From what I see, it's a Backdraft and it looks nice, beside the painted gold on the hood hinges. The engine will be a good driver. It has the older Tremec 3550 but, there's nothing wrong with that, and the motor does not have enough torque to hurt anything, especially with the light weight of the cobra. Get out on the streets and enjoy the hell out of it ! :D |
