BMW wheel for a spare?

Came across a BMW rim from a 525i. (no tire) Was wondering if this would work as a spare in an emergency? The offset is about 4 1/4" depending on how you measure. Will it fit both front and back? I have the older Team Three wheels.

I think it will depend on what brakes you have. If you have the larger M brakes I don't think it will work. If you are running 15" wheels it should clear the caliper.
