venom cobra struts
hi anybody have any idea what the part number for front strut cartridge is .i tried the one for backdraft but they dont fit thanks for your help

What is the conflict on fit? Give Brian a shout, he knows about some trick with washers to make things work. It's been a long time but he should know a way.
We've been to Bear Mountain a couple times this year but have not see you...

whats going ont hanks for reply got in touch with brain he gave me one of the part numbers .i used both backdraft numbers one strut was to wide the other was to thin and long .sounds gay ha lol..i got the numbers on struts in car there gabrial of south africa the numbers dont match up with anything i been up to bear mt twice thats it there suppose to be a huge show weds in nj bout 45min from tap bidge heard like 2000 cars pre lead east party let me no if u guys wanna go ill meet u by tz bridge how u like bear mt thanks for all your help soph

I had some issues with strut fit on a BDR car myself, yea...too short, too long, blah, blah, blah. Just put some washers in it.**) lol! BTW, the washer trick, tried it, did not for me. Would not hold the strut in position after a drive.
So, take a look at the backdraftboy forum post http://www.backdraftboys.com/viewtop...&t=441&start=0 . got some pictures of the gabriel vs KBY (didn't try the Bilsten units...to stiff for me) and the fix needed (for me a custom machined washer). It's alot of F*#ing around, but you may need to do something like this if you want a good secure fit of a strut. Not sure if this will help on your Venom car, but if they use the BWM/VW/custom coilovers front end, it may... |

its in montville nj i belirve its exit 47 off 287 its the pre lead east show thats start thurs to sunday at parsipany hilton nj
