backdraft vin number problem with Carfax
been trying for an hour now to run a vin number from a backdraft that is two years old but no good, it's 17 digits but Carfax will not accept it.went through their troubleshooting still no success, anyone have this problem before?
got the number right off a photocopy of his current registration card.

carfax is a joke, i use it but it is really only viable for used daily drivers.

Yes it just seems like it's a recurring problem with these type of vehicles.
pretty amazing $37 after tax to check one vehicle **)
