Need Detailed Pictures

Hello -

I'm looking to have a tonneau cover installed/possibly fabricated on my car. I am trying to get some detailed pictures of the cover installed AND pictures of the "pins" used for attachment. I sent him a picture that is on BDR website but it's small pic and not much detail. He needs to see what the hardware is and where all the attachment points are. The reason I am considering a custom fabricated cover is I could use fabric instead of vinyl and could use color (although I'd probably stick with black).

You can send pics here: webmaster AT v-man DOT org

THANKS,

Don

Check our photo gallery... probably 2000 photos of tonneau covers.

Thanks, I have looked through the gallery. I am looking for BDR specific and DETAILED pictures. I looked at 1,000's of pictures and was able to save 3 pictures of Backdrafts with covers! Even the 3 pics I saved are not real detailed. I was hoping if somebody had one in the garage and could get a couple really detailed shots ... e-mail would allow larger/more detailed photos (pictures on site are limited in size).

Why not get a quality all weather cover? Less money, goes on way quicker, and your not having to put a drill to that nice finish. Covercraft can make you one for $300 or so.

Glad it helped.

I actually have a Covercraft cover for it, came with the car. I was thinking less possibility of finish being scratched with tonneau cover compared to dragging and pulling full cover over car %/ My thinking was they both have a different purpose ...

I have a tonneau cover and I think folks forget how versatile they are; buttons up for parking outside, half zipped up it holds in heat when cold and keeps SOME rain out if caught away from home. Always used one with my Austin Healy’s and rediscovered the heat advantage when I had to button up in advance of some sprinkles returning from our annual San Marcos spring meet.
