lower alternator mount

has anyone retro fitted an older backdraft to the newer low mounted alternator? Standard bracket? from the backdraft boys? I think it really cleans up the look. :)

Low mounts use GM alternators while the high mounts usually are Ford. It's a pricey change for looks. But yeah it looks cleaner.

So, is this a custom engine to alternator mount? or a standard that is modified?

The SBF's of the late 60's and early 70's had the alternater mounted low on the passenger side. There are plenty of painted steel, chrome, and billit brackets available from many sources.
