Spotted: Blue BDR, NJ license "FEELUCKY"...?
Does anyone know whose blue + white Backdraft Racing Cobra I spotted this Saturday (July 30) evening at The Crab Trap near Ocean City NJ...?
It had a New Jersey license plate "FEELUCKY" and a police fraternity badge in the windshield. Odds are it belongs to a cop and/or a big Clint Eastwood fan. This was the first time I ever saw a BDR in person before ...don't think anyone in Canada has one. I hung around for a while, hoping to meet the owner, but he must've been inside enjoying his dinner. Nice car. Two things really struck me in comparison to my SPF: 1) the ground clearance under the oil cooler opening was really low, maybe only 2-3 inches, is this normal or could his car have been lowered? and 2) the cockpit seemed to be the same size as mine, but I expected it to be roomier given the extra 2 inches in wheelbase. |
You have to sit in it to feel the room. Biggest difference is in and out (longer door) and imagine no door hinge rubbing your clutch leg. The owner is Mike from Califon. I don't know if he posts here anymore...
