Also, any idea on CG location?

Tony What is CG? Center of Gravity? just wondering and trying to help, sorry otherwise I believe our BDR weighs about that i have never scaled mine sorry. I have a 24 foot enclosed trailer rated for 10,000lbs don't even feel car inside trailer while driving Tim

Thanks

Thanks Tim
Yeah>>>CG is center of gravity. I have a 20" trlr that Im going to load first time this weekend. Was looking for a good starting point for first position before measuring tongue weight. BTW, do you have any concerns while rolling into trlr ? Is being hooked up to tow vehicle good enoufgh or do you put jacks under rear of trlr to asist ?

If it helps, I put the front edge of the Cobra's door right between the axles of my trailer. That may not hold true for your trailer, but it's a place to start.

Thanks Steve ! Sounds good....

Tony I always am hooked to the truck when putting a car into the trailer. I too put the door between the wheels. I don,t have any issues being too hitch heavy. The tie down's in the floor are also spaced equal. Good luck. Tim

ditto what thunder1 said about wt.... 2450# on the scales...302 alum. heads, carb, t5 with 15" wheels and all fluids and 1/2 tank of fuel. CG????from jacking it up on the side...my guess would be right around the leading edge of the door. :3DSMILE:

Well, you are all correct ! Started with leading edge of door between axles. Had to move forward about 8 inches to achieve 12% tongue weight. Trailers drives out very smooth....thanks guys !!!
