Converting to solid bushings yikes!!!

There's a lot of crap under here holy *#@!!!

I've looked at all this BMW IRS many many times, HOWEVER, not with the intent of removing/replacing it. This is when I want my Camaro back:eek::eek::eek:

At least everything I'm taking out is new so it should come apart easily right? Moral support is in order.

Jay, thanks for the advice....I think:3DSMILE:

Are you installing the solid diff bushings or rear trailing arm bushings? I swapped out my diff a couple years ago and ran into issues with the diff front snout bushing that has the 14mm bolt. My bushing was torn and installed the derlin bushing in its place. It was really hard getting the old bushing out and the new one in. After drilling and pounding on that bushing, we finally used an air chisel to get it out. Made a press out of sockets same size as bushings and all thread with nuts and washers on the end for getting new bushing installed.
The diff was not the easiest to get out either. I pulled the gas tank to get to the rear diff mount bolts and had to flip the diff upside down in order for it to come out. Was a tight fit but not to bad with extra set of hands.
Next time will be easy being I know exactly what to do.
