Battery dies after flash tune
Every time I use my SCT to switch between the two loaded tunes, it causes the battery to die. The whole process takes only about 12 minutes, half the time the ignition is off. What I notice is that the fuel pump stays on whenever the ignition is on, which probably is causing the battery to drain down. The car is new, with a Coyote motor. Anyone know if its normal for the fuel pump to stay on? In my other production cars, it comes on for a few seconds when I open the driver's door to prime the motor then shuts off until I start the motor.
Can't think of anything else that may be draining the battery so badly during the flash. |
Yes pump will be on. We generally place on charger during flashes.
