Pulled the trigger
I just pulled the trigger and purchased Backdraft #388 with 408 stroker. It is scheduled to be delivered on 12/26 and pictures will be posted. I have a question the owner has been using 20w/50w Castrol GTX and the car has 4300 miles should I change to a different weight? Regular or Synthetic?

Congrats! I'm still using 20/50 in mine. I personally stick with regular based on my changing schedule and mileage.

Well Santa just delivered the BDR #388 snake and I sat in the driveway and just listened and smelled the beauty at a bone chilling 17 deg. How sweet it is.

I also run the 20-50w since that's what Ford Racing recommends for the engine. I use Amsoil since they now have several formulas of the 20-50w Z-Rod. One is for cars that aren't daily drivers and are formulated for extra rust protection when the car isn't driven to reach the temp to burn off the moisture.....Don
