Diff Speed Sensor Plug

Hi all, I can't believe that this one item has been so hard to find. I probably am just messing up nomenclature or something dumb like that. At any rate, I'm assembling BDR 1311 and need the right plug to fit the speed sensor in the diff cover. When I built BDR 687, it had the right "plug" on the harness already but 1311 has a generic 2 spade plug instead. I've looked on beemer sites and places like rock auto and pelican parts but have been unable to locate the right piece. I'm sure I could cobble some ****e up to get it working but I'd rather just have the right plug end.

Anyone have any insight on where I need to look and for what?

No experts on BMW wiring harnesses here? ;)

We use transmission sender now.

Why? The car's still wired for the diff, just has the wrong connector. I didn't even know that the TKOs had a sensor.

OK smarty pants but you still didn't say why you would go through the extra time to rewire for that.

Gauges have changed (twice since your first car) and the Tremec signal is cleaner.

I called Tremec and they gave me the name of a guy in Texas who has the plugs for the transmission. I made a wire harness from the transmission plug to the plug on the harness next to the rear diff. After doing that I found a wire in the harness close to the tranny in the harness running down the frame on the pass side. I think it is for a tranny hook up. Looks to be the same color code as the one coming to the rear end. Check it out. The plug for the transmission has two wires and it does not make a difference as to how you wire it up according to Tremec.
