LSD Comparisons

I autocross my BDR and am seriously traction limited coming out of corners with the open diff that came in my car and will be installing a LSD, the question is which LSD?

2 clutch
3 clutch
Quaife
Kaaz
OS Giken

I have been told by my BMW friends that the 2 clutch and 3 clutch BMW factory LSDs wears out under use from a 250hp BMW drivetrain, so I can only assume a 527hp SBF would kill it in short order.

I ran a Quaife in my Neon ACR and have always understood that Quaife ruled for FWD cars, but I know nothing about how they perform in RWD cars nor do I know how they compare to Kaaz and OS Giken units.

Any input from anyone having a Quaife, Kaaz or an OS Giken would be appreciated, especially if you are an autocrosser.

Thanks,
Kevin.....

Quaife seems to be a very popular choice among the GT40 crowd, who use a mid-engine location with a transaxle. Take a look at the GT40 section of the forum or check out GT40s.com - Powered by vBulletin, they have a separate transaxle board on their forum.

Cheers!!
