Front shock strut P/N

I have car # 209 (2004) and have a leaky front strut. The P/N that's on the Gabriel is not cross-referencing very well (at all). Does anyone have a P/N that will work? Not looking for race replacements just good quality.
Thanks guys.

Backdraft Parts - Home page has the stock ones. At least they used to carry them.

My car # 260 had oil in the bottom of the tube? not sure why...but it was not from a leaking strut!

Are you sure it's the strut leaking the oil?

there are two sizes or styles of front struts. Posted on the backdraftboys site many years ago...I think the site is down and my memory is gone... so don't remember. I also added a special bushing to keep the strut centered when re-assembling.

I found oil in mine also. Thought it was a leaking strut. Turns out they pore oil in the strut housing about 1/3rd up cartridge for heat transfer. Yes, old site had info on replacement part numbers. My replacement cartridge I got from bdr was different than the factory cartridge. But it came with a spacer that took up any size difference issues. I am on travel. When I get home I will see if I wrote down the pn.

Thanks for the replies. We went to NAPA and found the "shock stock" and opened quite a few boxes before finding the 86 VW Jetta shocks that work. The top mount bearings were worn out on one side and froze on the other. Just another challenge that was successfully negotiated. The oil was from the leaky strut.
Thanks again.

I admire and commend you on your self-reliance and resourcefulness in dealing with this maintenance issue. However, did you request information from Backdraft at any point in dealing with this that, if they had been the least supportive in your ownership of one of their cars, might have been somewhat helpful? My own experience in this area, namely, customer support from Backdraft Racing in FL, has been close to abysmal. I pity any other BDR customers who didn't get their cars from Jay and Brian at Vintage.
