Rear shocks
I have a year old Backdraft with one of the rear shocks (Gabriel) leaking. Has anyone replaced these shocks with another brand of shock? I would like to
have a part number of a good replacement. The ones that came with the car are manufactured in South Africa and I would like to replace them with another brand. I can not find any cross reference for these South African shocks. |
KG5529 is the one that I used on my BDR. It was firmer than stock but I love it. I think I ordered them from Jay. If memory serves me correctly, I think you have to cut down the bolt tube (for lack of a better term). Took 2 minutes with a hack saw.
